Graeme McDowell finished joint 37th on one under in the USPGA Championship at Medinah after shooting a second straight level-par 72 on Sunday.
The Portrush player got off to a bad start with a bogey at the first and he also carded a double bogey at the par-five seventh.
But the 27-year-old also had five birdies in a rollercoster round in the final major of the year.
McDowell fired a 68 on Friday to make the halfway cut by two shots.
Dubliner Padraig Harrington missed the even-par cut by five strokes after adding a 74 to his first-day 75.
Tiger Woods won by five shots, on 18 under par.
