Woods seals PGA National victory
Tiger Woods clinched his 68th PGA Tour
win at the PGA National in Maryland,
despite a superb last-round surge from
fellow American Hunter Mahan.
Tournament host Woods, who shared the
overnight lead with Anthony Kim, took
the title by one shot after recording a
three-under 67 for a total of 13 under.
Mahan equalled the course record with a
62 to tie for the lead before Woods
pulled clear with a birdie at the 16th.
Kim finished on nine under - a shot
ahead of Bryce Molder.
