Lincicome hopes the win is just the first of many

American Brittany Lincicome, 20, won her first LPGA tournament when she defeated Juli Inkster 3&2 in the final of the World Match Play Championship.
Lincicome defeated second seed Michelle Wie in the quarter-finals and number three seed Lorena Ochoa in the semis.
She was five up after eight holes in the final and Inkster's efforts on the back nine were too little too late.
"This has been an awesome week. I played great and I hope this is the first of many wins," said Lincicome.
"I'm still in shock. It's a huge accomplishment, and maybe it will have sunk in by the time I wake up tomorrow morning.

I played great all week but don't know why I couldn't get anything going - this afternoon, I got what I deserved

"This is something that I have dreamed about since I was a little girl, playing on the LPGA Tour and actually winning a tournament."
American veteran Inkster, a future LPGA Hall of Fame member, was desperately disappointed by her display in the final.
"I started badly and was four over par after eight holes," she said.
"I played great all week but don't know why I couldn't get anything going. This afternoon, I got what I deserved."
In the morning semi-finals, Inkster, who had beaten world number one Annika Sorenstam in the quarter-finals, had been in magnificent form and was six under par in defeating Paula Creamer 5&4.
In the play-off for third place, Ochoa was a 3&2 winner over Creamer.
