Transsexual golfer Mianne Bagger has missed the cut in her first event on the Ladies European Tour.

The 38-year-old Dane had been level par going into the second round at the ANZ Masters on Australia's Gold Coast but carded a three-over-par 75 on day two.

Japan's Ai Miyazato stretched her overnight lead to four strokes after a four-under-par 68 on Friday.

Britain's Laura Davies endured a far more mixed round of 73 to move her into a share of 33rd place.

Round-two leader Miyazato admitted she had struggled with the blustery weather conditions but was "happy with her round".

Her 68 came a day after she tied Karrie Webb's course record of 63.

That was again matched by 18-year-old American amateur Tiffany Joh on Friday. Her round moved her into a tie for third place with Sweden's Maria Hjorth.

Nikki Campbell is just one place ahead of the pair at nine under.

The 18-year-old Campbell went out in 33 after three birdies in a row from the fifth hole, but then parred the back nine as winds picked up.

"I've started to putt well on the Queensland (state) greens," said the Australian.

"I used to feel a bit daunted playing golf with some of the bigger names in women's golf, but I'm beginning to feel a bit more comfortable with it now."
