Phil Mickelson birdied the final hole to snatch the USPGA title at the death, having earlier almost thrown it away.
Mickelson was level with Steve Elkington and Thomas Bjorn going to the 18th, and then found the thick rough by the green with his approach shot.
But he produced a magnificent chip when he needed it most, and rolled in a three-footer to win his second major at four under par.
Play was suspended late on Sunday after electrical storms hit the course.
UPDATES FROM THE COURSE (All times BST)
1602: Mickelson hunches over his putt. With the crowd silent, he rolls the ball in to seal his second major win in two years. His children run onto the green to celebrate as the crowd go wild.
Elkington and Bjorn tie on two under in second, with Woods and Love one shot further back.
1559: Davis Love finishes with a round of 74 to end on two under.
1557: A brilliant chip out of the rough from Mickelson leaves him with a putt of just five feet to steal the title on the final green.
1552: Bjorn's birdie attempt on 18 lips out and he finishes on three under. Both he and Elkington must now watch and wait for Mickelson.

1545: Bjorn hooks his approach on 18 and is at the back on the bunkers on the left of the green.

1516: Mickelson pars the 15th to maintain his lead.
1514: Steve Elkington stays on three under to keep in touch with leader Mickelson, who has driven straight down the middle of the 15th fairway.
1509: Lee Westwood birdies the final hole to move into a tie for 17th place. England's Greg Owen finishes with a final round 80.
