Sweden's Annika Sorenstam overhauled a three-shot deficit in the last five holes to win a record fourth Samsung World Championship in California.
The world number one's five-under 67 at Bighorn left her three clear of South Korean Grace Park, who made three late bogeys to finish second after a 73.
Mexican Lorena Ochoa had a 70 to finish five shots off the pace on 13 under.
Britain's Karen Stupples was tied for eighth on eight under, with Catriona Matthew 11th and Laura Davies 19th.
Sorenstam, who won her first World Championship in Korea in 1995, launched her late charge with a 50-foot eagle chip at the 15th hole.
And a birdie from seven feet at the 17th put the seal on her eighth victory of the year.
"The chip in came at just the right time," said Sorenstam.
"Grace always seemed to have a nice little lead, but 15 got the adrenaline pumping and then to make the birdie at 17 was another key.
"It is probably the most difficult hole on the course and it really put the pressure on Grace."
A shocked Park said: "I just couldn't get the job done."
