Woods enjoying break from golf

Tiger Woods has admitted he is in no hurry to return to the PGA Tour after his marriage to Elin Nordegren.

The ex-world number one, currently on a honeymoon yacht in the Caribbean, told his website: "We are on our own and enjoying that - it's a lot of fun."

In response to questions about whether he would play in the Funai Classic in Florida from 21-24 October, he said: "I don't know yet."

Woods will definitely play in his own Target World Challenge from 8 December.

Featuring the world's top 16 players, it will be played at Sherwood Country Club in Los Angeles.

Woods has not won a stroke play tournament this year and has slipped from world No. 1 to No. 3 in recent weeks, falling behind Vijay Singh and Ernie Els.

But the 28-year-old said that he did not think marriage would alter his outlook as a professional.

"It is not going to change the way I play golf," he said.

"I just need to play solidly the rest of the year, and hopefully things will come together faster than they have been."
