Australian golf star Adam Scott has sacked his caddie Alastair McLean weeks after winning the prestigious Players Championship on the US Tour.
The 23-year-old made his decision after missing the cut at the Masters.
Scott's father Phil said: "They've parted company amicably and that's the way it is."
McLean worked for rising star Scott for more than 18 months after more than a decade with former Europe number one Colin Montgomerie.
Scott is on holiday on Australia's Gold Coast and will return at the TPC
of Europe tournament in Germany on 20 May.
