Price pulls out of USPGA
Nick Price
Price is a two-time PGA Champion
Nick Price has withdrawn from the USPGA Championship in order to spend more time with his family.

Price is number 10 in the world and a two-time USPGA champion.

He will be replaced in next week's tournament at Oak Hill by Billy Mayfair.

Nick Faldo and Ian Woosnam have already withdrawn from the event for personal reasons.

Price last missed the USPGA in 1991, when he returned home to be with his wife for the birth of their youngest child.

He was replaced that year by John Daly, the ninth alternate, who drove through the night to Crooked Stick in Indiana and went on to win the title.

Price won at Bellerive the following year, and won his second PGA in 1994 at Southern Hills.
