1217: Jamie Spence, who began the day in a tie for fifth, makes a strong start as he birdies the first hole to move to eight under.

1216: Tim Clark pars the first hole to stay at seven under.

1212: Colin Montgomery, who was one under par for the first three rounds, boosts his confidence ahead of the Open with a strong final round. The Scot shoots four birdies and an eagle at the par-five 13th to move to seven under overall.

1148: South Africa's Tim Clark, lying four shots off the lead, is the first of the title contenders to tee off.

He is partnered by Argentina's Jose Coceres.

Sweden's Niclas Fasth is the current clubhouse leader after bouncing back from Saturday's disastrous round of 79 with a six-under-par 65.

He is on two under, two shots ahead of British duo Simon Dyson, who carded a final-round 67, and Gordon Brand Jnr.
