This week's winning picture is the unmistakable head of Kevin Pietersen, courtesy of Elizabeth Collett.

But it hasn't been the best of weeks for England's dashing middle-order batsman.

If a rib injury, which forced him to miss the remainder of England's one-day series against Pakistan, wasn't bad enough, his infamous "skunk" barnet was making headlines for the wrong reasons.

The Hampshire star finished second in the worst hairstyle awards for 2005. Apparently it wasn't as bad as Babyshambles lead singer Pete Doherty's.

Cheer up Kev, it's Christmas.
