Ralf's sex shock
Ralf Schumacher
Not on your head, Ralf!
Formula One driver Ralf Schumacher has abandoned plans to invest in an erotic products firm because rude jokes were damaging his image.

Last week, Schumacher said he would invest about £700,000 to set up eight sex product shops in Slovenia in 2005.

Schumacher pulled out of the agreement after a television comedian ridiculed the Grand Prix star and his wife.

"It's been turned into a campaign. Being a role model is more important to me," he told Bild newspaper.

Bild said the TV funny man distributed T-shirts that called his wife Cora "Hard Cora". Other T-shirts had the slogan "Porn Rally".

The shops of the company in which Schumacher had planned to invest, Beate Uhse, sell more than 10,000 products, ranging from sex toys to racy lingerie and erotic films, in more than 200 shops in 10 European countries.
