Elvis to serve
Elvis and Shergar - a winning combination
Forget Tim Henman, the smart money is on a future Wimbledon final between Elvis Presley and Lord Lucan.

Not only that, don't be surprised if Elvis arrives at Centre Court on missing-presumed-dead racehorse Shergar.

The weird and wonderful prediction was made by unemployed Ian McMillan, who got record odds of 20,000,000-1 from bookmakers William Hill.

It's certainly the most bizarre bet we've ever had
William Hill

The 38-year-old from Devon, was prepared to stake £10 on the madcap bet, which would have netted him a cool £200m.

But amazingly, Hills bosses restricted Ian to just 5p, in case the unthinkable happened - in which case he would 'only' pick up a million.

Kidnapped

Of course the chances are slim to none - and slim's left town.

Lord Lucan disppeared in 1974, aged 39, at the same time as his nanny was found murdered. He is presumed dead, but no body has ever been found.

Elvis died in 1977, aged 42, but there have been dozens of reported sightings, while Derby winner Shergar was kidnapped in 1983 and no trace of him has ever been found.

A spokeswoman for William Hill told BBC Sport Online: "It's certainly the most bizarre bet we've ever had, which is reflected by the longest odds we've ever quoted.

Tim Henman
Henman? Don't be silly

"We've had plenty of unusual bets in the past, including requests for Shergar, Elvis Presley and Lord Lucan - but never all three together."

Hopeful Ian insisted: "I'm looking forward to collecting my winnings...anything is possible."

Well not quite everything, Ian.

You could have placed your hard on cash on Tim Henman to win Wimbledon - now that really would have been throwing it away.
