when it staged the third match between England and Australia.
The tourists' Clem Hill scored the only century on the ground, which was not used again for Test cricket. 1905: The world heavyweight title fight between Marvin Hart and Jack Root in Nevada set new ground. He went on to lead the club to their first Scottish championship title in 10 years in his only season in charge. 2000: Tim Henman's bid to win Wimbledon ended in the fourth round when he was beaten in a five-set thriller by big-serving Australian Mark Philippoussis on Centre Court.
