Super bloopers
BBC Radio's Rob Nothman has got together a collection of his favourite howlers - many of which happened live on air.
The 22nd in the series finds Five Live presenter Fergus Sweeney getting a fit of the giggles as he attempts to give listeners news of the Uefa Cup draw. Click the yellow box on the top right hand side to hear the blooper. Fergus falls about It's never easy to explain the behaviour of 5-Live's Breakfast Sports presenter Fergus Sweeney. Part of his charm is that you never quite know what to expect. He has a sense of humour all of his own. It also doesn't take much to afflict him with the broadcaster's curse - the corpse. To this day, no-one quite knows what set him off during this bulletin, but once the giggles arrived, they couldn't be suppressed... |
