The 11th in the series sees Tommy Docherty unusually stuck for a word.

Here is a collector's item. An occasion when Tommy Docherty can't get his words out.

The man - who, by his own admission, had more clubs than Jack Nicklaus - is renowned as an interviewer's dream.

In his time as manager of clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Queens Park Rangers, Derby and Aston Villa, "the Doc" was rarely short of a word or two.

But here, in conversation with Pat Murphy, one phrase proves beyond him.
