BBC Radio's Rob Nothman has got together a collection of his favourite howlers - many of which happened live on air.

The ninth in the series sees former Liverpool star Craig Johnston failing to see the point of Roddy Forsyth's question. 'KISS' - (Keep it simple, stupid)

'KISS' is a motto which all broadcasters would do well to follow.

Reporters are always reminded that listeners have just one opportunity to understand what is being said. They can't go back and read the story again.

With this in mind, have a listen to an extract from an interview between the former Liverpool and Middlesbrough midfielder Craig Johnston and the BBC's voice of Scottish football Roddy Forsyth.
