There is nothing more frustrating for a commentator than the technical hitch.

You may be in full swing, with the link between brain and mouth working perfectly, and then all of a sudden the technical glitch arrives to ruin everything.

There are few better examples than Peter Drury's commentary of a European tie involving Celtic.
