Cavendish pulled out in the eighth stage of the Tour de France

Cyclist Mark Cavendish and Enduro rider David Knight have been named joint Manx Sportsmen of the Year at the Isle of Man Sports Awards ceremony.
Cavendish told Manx Radio: "The Island has a massive cycling community and to know they're behind me spurs me on. To get this award is beyond great for me."
Snowboarder Zoe Gillings was revealed as Sportswomen of the Year.
James Toseland, the current World Superbike champion, was named the Isle of Man Ambassador for 2007.
The award for the Under-21 Sportsman went to cyclist Jonny Bellis, while crown green bowler Shelley Kennish was named as Under-21 Sportswoman of the Year.
The lifetime achievement award winner was Colby junior football coach and sidecar competitor Dicky Gale.
