YG 09 All Star Aaron Cardozo has landed himself a cool £2,500 grant from UnLtd Sport Relief, the fund for budding social entrepreneurs.

"I've wanted to run my own project for a while and the YG team mentioned that I could apply for funding so I thought why not. I filled in the form online and then had an interview and now I've just had confirmation that I've got a grant for £2,500.

"I currently work part time at Swindon Borough Council coaching community sport sessions and my plan is to drive around different areas and run lots of sessions - maybe football for the boys and badminton for the girls. I need to buy equipment and get my driving licence under my belt so I can reach more areas but I'm looking forward to the challenge and getting my project started."

Aaron follows previous Your Game All Star's who have successfully applied for funding including Rimla Akhtar, Kate Wilson and Lee Park.

Each year Your Game selects a group of young people to become All Stars for making an outstanding contribution to their local communities and in return for their efforts they receive a year of support and mentoring. This year's cohort recently visited Wembley for and exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Carling Cup Final and the Match of the Day studio.
