Theone Coleman took part in Your Game Southampton last year and went on to become one of the events 'All-Stars'. He's since won a variety of youth achievement awards, worked as a TV presenter and made a pilot show for BBC Radio 1Xtra.
A few years back it looked as if his life might take a very different course. Forced to leave home at 16 he dropped out of college, fell into selling drugs and ended up in prison.
It was there that he made the choice to get his life sorted. He became involved with several youth organisations including Nacro and the Princes Trust. This gave Theone the inspiration to create 'Bourne 2 Stand Out' a Bournemouth-based music workshop for young people.
Taking part in Your Game has allowed the 23 year-old to develop further as his Nacro mentor Dominic Weir recognises. "He's taken forward all of the advice and help he's received. He's the perfect example of how if you're given the right help and take new opportunities you can turn your life around."
Theone has since represented Your Game at a variety of high profile events in the UK and abroad.
Your Game is a partnership between the BBC and Comic Relief which offers young people, aged 16 to 25, from under-served communities the chance to get involved in football, music and the media.
