Player Profile
The young striker has represented his country at Under-18 and Under-23 level, and played at the Fifa Under-20 World Cup last year. He made his senior international debut in the defeat by Zambia earlier this year and has featured regularly in South Korea’s warm-up matches.
The 21-year-old scored his first Korea goal in the 5-0 win against Hong Kong, and also netted in wins against Japan and Ecuador.
He came through the youth system at FC Seoul and helped them finish third in the K-League in 2009.
