Player Profile
An option at right-back, Ngcongca has never played in the Premier Soccer League having left his homeland as a teenager to play in Belgium.
He only made his international debut in November against Japan, but has clearly done enough to impress Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira. He also offers options in central defence and as a defensive midfielder.
Ngcongca moved to Belgium with Racing Genk in 2007 following a trial at Arsenal. Arsene Wenger was impressed enough to recommend the defender to the Belgian side, who did not hesitate to sign him.
The 22-year-old helped Genk to victory in the 2008/09 Belgium Cup, and played 31 games this season as they finished the regular league in 11th place and then won the Europa League play-off.
