Player profile
Known as a utility player, he is likely to feature as a defensive midfielder. He has spent the last seven seasons playing for Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev, winning two league titles and gaining European experience.
He has already faced Argentina’s Lionel Messi twice this season – the Barcelona star scored in home and away wins against Dynamo in the Champions League group stage.
The midfielder was a squad member at the last three Africa Cup of Nations, although he was not first choice in Angola earlier this year.
He made 16 league appearances as Dynamo finished second to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian top flight in 2009/10.
