Player Profile
The technically-gifted midfielder is another of the France-born contingent brought into the squad this year. Kadir, whose parents are Algerian, has just completed his first season of top-flight football, overcoming a frustrating first half of the campaign to start 14 league games for mid-table Valenciennes. The highlight of his season was scoring in the victory over outgoing champions Bordeaux in April.
Kadir has steadily moved his way up the divisions in France. He spent three seasons with Cannes in the third tier and then had two years at Second Division Amiens until they were relegated last summer.
