Holland have suffered an injury setback after midfielder Rafael van der Vaart was forced to pull out of training with an injured ankle.
Van der Vaart faces an anxious wait ahead of the World Cup
The 23-year-old was forced on to the sidelines after being struck by a ball - on the same ankle that has plagued him during the 2005-2006 campaign.
The Hamburg star recently underwent an operation to remove a screw from the injured joint.
Head coach Marco van Basten said: "The new injury is on a different spot."
However, he added: "It is clear though that the joint is not comfortable yet. It is good he stopped the training immediately. We must now wait and see how serious it exactly is."
