I can't really see Sweden or England going beyond the second round no matter who they meet.

The question though, is how will Sven approach the Sweden game? Will he be smart and learn that a fast winger is a handy thing to have? Will he allow Gerrard out of his own half? Will he accept that Owen is even less match fit than Rooney?

I think England might have a hard time winning against Sweden.

Sweden are not impressive at all. They will go out against Germany in the second round.

Well done Sweden, I've got a lot of respect for that effort and application.

Sweden should get a boost after that dramatic late goal from Ljungberg. England shouldn't be so confident now.

Oh No! Paraguay is down late in the game. It's over for Paraguay. Also, it will be tough for T & T to make it out of the group. I think Sweden just booked it's spot. I wonder if they would just settle for a draw against England. A win and they could top the group. But a heavy loss with a big win for T & T and they could be out.

What is it about Freddie? Always seems to manage to pop up from nowhere with those vital goals.

What a great goal-line clearance - the Paraguay defender was going at some speed.

Paraguay look quite decent to be fair - suddenly our win against them doesn't look too bad as although we did play badly, we also completely stifled them.

Sweden look brilliant! Ljungberg and Wilhelmsson, now they are real wingers! Take note Aaron and Stewart!
2011: Lord Summerisle
Sweden look to have finally decided to stop mucking about and play some football. Decent save from the Paraguayan keeper there. I expect Paraguay to have their hands full for much of the game.

I'd love nothing more than a nice boring 0-0. Let our players have fun against Sweden knowing we can't possibly finish lower than tops.
1949: Cold War Kid
I just can't see Sweden getting anything. They haven't won or scored for ages. They will need a big turn around in form, and Ibra to get his act together, even if it's only for one game. I predict 1-1.

A lot will depend on tonight's Sweden-Paraguay game. If Paraguay manage a win or draw then England will top their group, in which case Sven can afford to rest his key players in the last match.
1930: man-utd-till-i-die
A draw would be great for England, cos we will have secured first going into the final match, which is a lot of pressure off the lads - bad news for Sweden though if they draw.
