Clockwatch: Wales 1-0 Belarus
Minute-by-minute action from Wales's win over Belarus in their final World Cup qualifier.
90 mins: Referee Rodomonti blows the final whistle to give Wales, and manager Mark Hughes, their first victory in 13 games. 90 mins: Belarus skipper Gurenko balloons a free-kick over the bar; Hartson is replaced by Iwan Roberts. 89 mins: Baranov's shot at the Welsh goal is blocked by Gary Speed as Wales edge nervously to the end of the match. 84 mins: Bellamy is fouled just outside the penalty area by Erik Yakhimovich and from the free-kick Hartson heads over. 79 mins: Paul Jones saves Kulchiy's shot from point-blank range before Katchouro heads wide. 76 mins: Bellamy again bursts through but, after beating three defenders, his sees his shot saved by Tumilovich. 70 mins: A fine run by Bellamy is halted by goalkeeper Tumilovich. 66 mins: Belarus substitute Alexandr Gleb comes on for Vasily Baranov. 64 mins: Wales replace Matthew Jones with Wolves midfielder Carl Robinson. 62 mins: Wales waste another glorious chance as John Robinson and Bellamy create an opportunity for Davies, who blazes over the top. 56 mins: Peter Katchouro's shot is deflected wide by Page. 47 mins: Pembridge is booked for a foul on Belarus midfielder Alex Kulchiy.
46 mins: Wales open the scoring in the first minute of the second half. A fine run and cross by Davies is headed home by Hartson.
Half-time: Wales 0-0 Belarus 45 mins: Gary Speed puts a volley over the bar from 10 yards, following a Bellamy free-kick. 44 mins: Belarus replace the hobbling Vasilyuk with Nikolai Rinadyuk. 43 mins: Belarus keeper Tumilovich is called into action again, to beat away a 30-yard effort from Matthew Jones, and then tip over a Hartson header. 42 mins: A Belarus breakaway ends with Paul Jones saving a weak shot from visiting skipper Sergei Gurenko. 35 mins: Pembridge fires in a vicious free-kick, but Tumilovich turns it around the post. 32 mins: Roman Vasiluyk hits Belarus' first attempt at goal wide from 15 yards out. 30 mins: Belarus' first attack ends with Peter Katchouro unable to find support as his cross drops harmlessly wide. 27 mins: Hartson lays on a chance for Matthew Jones, but Tumilovich produces another fine save. 22 mins: Another glorious chance missed by Bellamy, as a through ball from Davies puts the Newcastle striker clear. But the youngster blazes over. 19 mins: Welsh claims for a penalty, for a push by Sergei Shtanyk on Hartson, are turned down by referee Paolo Rodomonti. 16 mins: Kit Symons, doubtful before the game with a hamstring injury, limps off to be replaced by Sheffield United's Robert Page. 14 mins: Another fine Welsh move is denied a goal by a save from Gennady Tumilovich. John Hartson's pass finds Simon Davies, but the Spurs midfielder is halted by the Belarus keeper. 7mins: Craig Bellamy wastes a glorious chance after a fine through ball from Mark Pembridge. 5 mins: Belarus defender Sergei Yaskovich is yellow-carded after a late tackle on Wales full-back Mark Delaney. 1430 BST: Wales' final World Cup 2002 qualifier gets underway at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, with the roof closed because of a bad weather forecast.
