Owen's opening goal graphic
BBC Sport Online analyses the crucial goals from England's 2-0 victory over Albania at St James' Park.

Click below for a graphic of the action:

Goal one - Michael Owen
Goal two - Robbie Fowler

After a first half of frustration, Michael Owen finally breaks Albania's resistence with a clinically-taken goal.

Paul Scholes was the architecht, anticipating Owen's angled run with a delightful chip over the visitors' defence.

Owen stayed onside and timed his run perfectly, meeting the ball on the volley to give goalkeeper Foto Strakosha no chance.

The sweetly-taken goal continues rich run of form following his brilliant hat-trick in Munich on Saturday.
