Castletown get Floodlit Cup campaign back on track

Castletown breathed life back into their MBL Financial sponsored Floodlit Cup campaign on Sunday with a 4-2 victory over Ramsey in group A.

The northerners took a two-goal lead through Tara Scott and Sam MacDonald but a Castletown fought back to record an important victory.

A brace from Trisha Fleming and strikes from Justine Carran and Sarah Denny sealed the southerners' victory.

Meanwhile, Corinthians thrashed Peel 7-0 to top the group.

In group B, Douglas Royal and Gymns both maintained their winning starts in the competition.

Royal beat DHSOB 4-0 and Gymns ran out 7-3 winners against Laxey.

Corinthians 7-0 Peel

DHSOB 0-4 Douglas Royal
