Denmark end Scots' unbeaten run

Scotland's 100% run in their Women's World Cup qualifying section came to an end as Denmark won 1-0 at Rugby Park.

An early goal from Line Roddik Hansen was enough to extend the visitors' lead at the top of Group 3.

Scotland had won their previous five matches in qualifying but now trail the Danes by four points, although they have a game in hand.

However, with a trip to Denmark still to come, the group's front-runners are strong favourites to progress.

The Scots are at home to Greece next, with the campaign ending in Denmark on 25 August.
