Leeds Ladies v Blackburn Ladies

LEAGUE CUP
Venue: Throstle Nest, Farsley Date: Sunday, 8 November Kick-off: 1400 GMT Coverage: Commentary on BBC Radio Leeds online

Leeds Ladies host Blackburn Rovers Ladies in the rearranged quarter-final of the League Cup on Sunday.

Leeds will be hoping for a repeat of their 3-2 league success over Rovers on 15 October, when Sue Smith, Ellen White and Carla Cantrell got the goals.

Manager Rick Passmoor told BBC Radio Leeds: "After Sunday's cup game we complete the triple-header with a visit to Blackburn in a few weeks time.

"But we're trying not to think that far ahead at the moment."

Passmoor said their recent meetings with Blackburn have been entertaining games.

"Our 0-0 against Sunderland last Wednesday night was a similar game," he said. "Great to watch unless you're one of the managers."

Leeds will be heavy favourites to win the contest as they currently sit second in the Premier League, while Blackburn are second-bottom with just one win in eight matches.

Leeds were runners-up in the competition in 2007.
