Harrison fires Rushen to summit

Football

Rushen ran riot against Ramsey at Croit Lowey on Sunday to go top the Sure Mobile Women's League.

Donna Harrison was the star of the show as Rushen ran out 12-0 winners in the only game to survive the weather.

Harrison scored seven goals, Dawn Georgeson grabbed a hat-trick while Katie Stopford and Sam Macdonald each netted one apiece.

Rushen's win sees them leapfrog Royals and Peel to the top of the table with 19 points.

Ramsey have now lost all six of their league games this season and sit rock bottom of the table.
