Coventry Ladies crash to students

Kelly-Anne Willis scored early in the second half

Coventry City Ladies fell to a disappointing three-one defeat at Loughborough Ladies on Sunday.

It leaves City without a point on the road this season and they are now just two points above the Midland Womens Combination League relegation zone.

Kelly-Anne Willis got Coventry's goal with a deflected effort but by that time they were already two goals down.

Laura Steele sealed victory for the students with her second goal adding to Amy Perry's early strike.

The Sky Blues are now seven points adrift of early frontrunners Derby County.
