Matchwinner Pretinha (left) celebrates with Marta
|
Brazil maintained their 100% record at the World Cup with a hard-fought win over brave Denmark.
Veteran striker Pretinha struck the only goal of the game in the second minute of stoppage time - her first World Cup goal for 12 years.
Maiken Pape wasted a glorious early chance to put Denmark in front when she headed wide from point-blank range.
But Brazil took control and Marta hit a post and forced two fine saves from impressive goalkeeper Heidi Johansen.
