England and Arsenal Ladies captain Faye White has signed a short-term contract with Canadian side Ottawa Fury.
White missed most of Arsenal's season with injury
Fury play in the USL W-League and defender White, 29, will spend the rest of the season with them.
"We are delighted to attract such an exciting, high profile player," said Fury head coach Frank Lofranco.
The Fury's regular season is due to end on 21 July and White is expected to make her debut against Jersey Sky Blue on 20 June.
White was injured for most of Arsenal's Quadruple-winning season with a cruciate ligament injury picked up in pre-season.
The defender is looking to improve her fitness ahead of the 2007 Fifa Women's World Cup in China in September.
