England and Arsenal Ladies defender Faye White may miss most of the season after rupturing her anterior cruciate ligaments in a friendly match.
White was injured in the Gunners' game at Bristol City on 16 July.
"I'm extremely disappointed to be out of training with this injury," said the 28-year-old.
"I have an appointment with a surgeon early next month and we will have to take it from there but I know I will be out for a while."
