Arsenal striker Lianne Sanderson has won the Nationwide Women's Player of the Month Award for January.
The 18-year-old was selected by a panel including England coach Hope Powell.
"Lianne has made an outstanding contribution in the first half of the season and has been fantastic to work with," said Arsenal boss Vic Akers.
"Her strength and knowledge make her a real threat and I am positive she will be a major player for Arsenal and England in the next 10 years."
Sanderson's goals have helped Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table and into the FA Cup quarter-finals.
"Lianne has been in scintillating form during January and her goals have been a key factor in her side's success," said Nationwide's Chris Hull.
"In a side that includes top international strikers Kelly Smith and Julie Fleeting, Lianne has established a regular place in the Arsenal line-up as well as being an important member of the England Under-19 team."
