Germany v Norway as it happened
An impressive display from Germany's women saw them brush Norway aside in the Euro 2005 final at Ewood Park.

Anja Mittag scored from close range following a corner and Renate Lingor netted with a superb lob to put Germany two goals up early in the first half.

But Norway stepped up a gear and got one back deservedly when Dagny Mellgren finished off a delightful move.

Prinz's long-range strike dashed their hopes, however, and the Germans clinched a fourth straight Euro title.
