Arsenal Ladies striker Julie Fleeting said the Gunners deserved their 3-0 FA Women's Cup final win over Charlton.
Fleeting hit a hat-trick at Loftus Road just a day after playing for Scotland and she believes victory was justified.
"We really showed what we could do. We went right at them and got a two-goal cushion and that helped going into the second half," Fleeting told BBC Sport.
"Charlton put up a really good fight, they are a good team, but we were worthy winners in the end."
Fleeting was in a Scotland side defeated 3-1 by Germany in a European Championship qualifier that leaves her national side struggling to win even a play-off place.
"I played for Scotland on Sunday and got a dead leg, but the physio helped me a lot and got me through and I felt fine," she said.
"This is a game I wanted to play in and once I got going there were no problems.
"It sets us up nicely for the league decider against Fulham so hopefully we can win that as well."
