Brazil will play the second-place team from Group A on
Wednesday in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
Group B: South Korea 1-7 Norway
Norway, who won the World Cup in 1995, also advanced
to the next round after a 7-1 demolition of South Korea.

quarter-finals after losing to Brazil.
But Norway captain Dagny Mellgren and Linda Ormen scored two goals each, while Solveig Gulbrandsen, Marianne Pettersen and Brit
Sandaune all chipped in.
"We tried to score a lot of goals so that if France had
beaten Brazil we would have won the group. And we would have if France had won, so we were able to do that," said Norway coach Age Steen.
Kim Jin-hee got one back for the South Koreans.
Norway will take on the winners of Group A in the
quarter-finals.
Group C : Argentina 1-6 Germany
Maren Meinert scored

down against Japan to move on to the next round.

each after Japan star Homare Sawa had given the Asians an
early lead.
The Canadians will face the Group D winners on Thursday.
