Other fourth-round fixtures and results: 2147: Three minutes of injury time are never going to be enough to rescue Leeds' hopes and David O'Leary's players cut a sorry sight at the final whistle.
2044: Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink strikes in the final minute to sink Leeds at Elland Road. The striker dives bravely between Dominic Matteo and Rio Ferdinand to nod over the line after a shot from Lucius is deflected onto the bar. 2000: Leeds get their fourth-round clash with PSV Eindhoven under way at Elland Road, looking to build on the battling goalless draw in Holland.
Clockwatch: Feyenoord 3-2 Rangers (Agg 4-3) 1949: The final whistle sounds in Rotterdam, signalling the end of Rangers' Uefa Cup campaign for this season. 1939: Michael Mols misses a glorious chance to level for Rangers when he blazes into the side-netting after being sent clear. 1927: Rangers' quarter final hopes take a massive nosedive as Neil McCann is sent off with 18 minutes left. Already booked in the first half, McCann disputes a free-kick and picks up a second yellow card for dissent. 1922: Van Hooijdonk appeals for a penalty after he collides with Tony Vidmar as he connects with a header. 1919: Claudio Cannigia's run and pass tees up Neil McCann, who drags his shot just wide with only the keeper to beat.
1908: Defender Patrick Paauwe stumbles and pulls down substitute Michael Mols, allowing Barry Ferguson to strike from the penalty spot. With Paauwe also red-carded for the professional foul, Rangers are right back in contention.
1902: Rangers make a disastrous start to the second half as Kalou heads the home side 3-1 in front. Van Persie's shot bounces off a post and, when Van Hooijdonk swings the ball back into the danger area, Kalou strikes with a diving header. 1846: The half-time whistle sounds just moments after Van Hooijdonk's second strike and Lorenzo Amoruso immediately runs to the referee to argue the decisions leading to both free-kicks.
1844: Van Hooijdonk strikes again with a virtually identical free-kick on the stroke of half-time. The swerve beats Klos in the same corner as his first effort but the defensive wall takes some blame for breaking up as the Dutchman strikes.
1837: Pierre van Hooijdonk levels for Feyenoord with a stunning free-kick, bending the ball up and over the Rangers wall and beyond the reach of goalkeeper Stefan Klos. 1834: Neil McCann is booked for a tackle from behind on Rzasa. 1830: Barry Ferguson curls a free-kick over the crossbar, though goalkeeper Zoetebier has his goal covered.
1826: Barry Ferguson's quick free-kick catches the Feyenoord defence napping and Neil McCann gets in front of Brett Emerton to steer home a neat left-foot finish. 1813: Van Percie's cross nearly picks out Ono, but Lorenzo Amoruso makes a timely challenge at the near post. 1810: Peter Lovenkrands makes a fine run into the penalty area and is checked by Patrick Paauwe, only for penalty appeals to be waved away. 1804: A lucky escape for Rangers as Japanese international Shinji Ono heads over the bar. Team news: With Rangers needing to score, boss Alex McCleish gambles on playing three up front, Claudio Cannigia partnered by Neil McCann and Peter Lovenkrands. McCleish also has three recognised strikers on the bench in Michael Mols, Billy Dodds and Tore Andre Flo.

van Wonderen, van Persie, Bosvelt, Ono, van Hooijdonk. Subs:
