York City sign defender O'Hare

York City

York City have signed former Mansfield Town defender Alan O'Hare.

The 26-year-old left-footed centre-half has also played for Chesterfield where he made over 100 appearances.

In addition to O'Hare the club have confirmed that former Ebbsfleet defender Neil Barrett completed his move to York on Tuesday.

York are still hopeful of signing Darius Charles after a deal to bring him and Michael Gash from Ebbsfleet fell through.
