Artur Krysial spent time on loan at Gretna last season
York City have signed 18-year-old goalkeeper Artur Krysiak from Birmingham City on a one-month loan to cover for the injured Michael Ingham.
Manager Colin Walker told BBC Radio York: "Michael Ingham will not be fit for Crawley.
"I've managed to bring Artur on loan today for a month so everything is up and ready for Crawley away."
Ingham has been strggling to return to fitness since limping out of the pre-season friendly at Harrogate.
Whether its a right decision or wrong decision, only time will tell

Krysiak's arrival means City's number two goal keeper Josh Mimms will miss out on a place in the starting line up for the opening game of the Blue Square Premier season.
Walker said: "I didn't enjoy telling Josh this morning. But I told him two weeks ago that I'd have a little look at him and see how it was.
"It's a difficult one, Crawley away, because Josh let six in there. It was my call. I just had to make a decision. That's what get paid for.
"Whether its the right decision or the wrong decision only time will tell, but Josh has accepted it very well.
"He's obviously disappointed - which I like - but he's got to be big enough to accept his chance when it comes again."
