McEwan in triple transfer swoop
York City boss Billy McEwan has brought in three new players in a bid to boost his side's push for the play-offs.

McEwan has signed Darlington full-back Craig James, 24, on loan until the end of the season.

The former Sunderland and Port Vale left-back joins the Minstermen after starting 27 games for the Quakers this season.

McEwan has also signed Whitley Bay striker Phil Bell and Gainsborough defender Ben Purkiss on loan.
