Dolan wants answers
York boss Terry Dolan
Dolan has been kept in the dark
York City manager Terry Dolan is demanding to know what the future holds for the Minstermen.

Dolan is defying the odds to keep City in the promotion frame.

But he admits that he and the players are being in kept in the dark about whether York can survive and who will be taking over at Bootham Crescent.

Dolan said: "We are fourth and when you consider what has been going-on off the field it is of tremendous credit to everybody concerned.

"On behalf of myself, all the players, staff and supporters - because they are showing tremendous support for this football club - I want some answers now.

"I have worked very hard for three years with all the staff to get into this position and we still do not know where we are going.

"It is about time we got some answers from somebody. I do not know what the current situation is and we need to know what is going on.

"The players, staff and supporters are the important people at the football club but everything is being influenced by other people."

Kept afloat

Dolan has seen top-scorer Peter Duffield and goalkeeper Alan Fettis leave the club during the current crisis as the players have not been paid in full, and fears others could follow.

Two offers, including one from the Supporters Trust, have been made for the club, but City, who have been kept afloat by money from the fans, remain in administration.

"Everyone says it is going to be alright in a couple of weeks time, but that does not do any good to those players in the dressing room, they need to know.

"They want to know whether they have got a future, I need to know if I've got a future and the supporters need to know they will have a football club to follow," Dolan told the York Evening Press.
