Yeovil Town chairman John Fry has said that managers in the Football League are being placed under undue pressure due to the transfer window regulations.
"That pressure is because the transfer systems for the lower leagues are not suitable," he told the Western Gazette.
"These rules are out of order as far as doing business during the football season is concerned.
"If the authorities do not wake up and do something then you are not going to have lower-league football."
The Glovers' challenge for the League One play-offs this season evaporated in January, after loan players Darren Way and James Walker were recalled by Swansea and Charlton and manager Russell Slade was unable to prevent Yeovil's slide down the table.
