Yeovil Town striker Kirk Jackson scored a hat-trick as England's National Game XI made a winning start to the Four Nations Tournament in Wales on Tuesday.

Aldershot's Roscoe d'Sane opened the scoring in a 4-0 win over the Republic of Ireland.

Defending champions Wales beat Scotland 2-1 in the other game.

Paul Fairclough's England side now play Wales at Merthyr Tydfil on Thursday in what could be the title decider.
