Wycombe have signed young midfielder Lewwis Spence on a free transfer after he rejected a new deal at Championship side Crystal Palace.
The 20-year-old made his professional debut for Palace in 2006, where he played under recently-appointed Wycombe boss Peter Taylor.
Taylor has also signed Brentford midfielder John Mousinho, 20, after the Bees agreed to cancel his contract.
Both players have signed two-year contracts at Adams Park.
Although Palace had offered Spence a new deal and he is under 24, BBC Sport understands that Palace are not entitled to a compensation fee as they had only offered him a six-month deal.
Taylor told the club's website: "Lewwis is a powerful, forward-running midfielder with a very good left foot.
"He has a great hunger for the game. I want players to come in, to be hungry and prove a point. He fits the bill."
Mousinho was transfer-listed by the Bees at the end of last season, having made his debut in 2005/06.
