Sam Russell has previously spent three seasons at Darlington
Wrexham goalkeeper Sam Russell has agreed to rejoin former club Darlington on a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old originally signed for the Quakers in 2004 and played three seasons for them before joining Rochdale in 2007.
Russell joined Wrexham at the start of this season on a one-year deal and has shared duties with Chris Maxwell at the Blue Square Premier team this term.
He is Darlington's ninth signing after relegation from the Football League.
